Number One: An inertia of reflection

Let me begin by attempting to present myself in the linguistic maze that I find myself in. As a South American, with a European education, an American university experience and currently a graduate life in Mexico, I tend to speak in tongues all at once. Nevertheless, I will attempt to position myself within on linguistic code keeping in mind my comfort level and ease within the languages.

So I am here to begin an exploration of the internet, this ethereal world that has suddenly dislocated us into a parallel existence, coexisting as one within a mirror. Alice through the looking glass is suddenly ever more relevant. And with this I ask myself, what happens when we displace, dislocate ourselves into a mirror that allows us, gives us, the possibility to create, control, use and abuse and interact with this world in a simulation of sorts, a simulation of life? Is the ghost in the shell displaced, cloned, transformed, changed? Who are you when you log on to your social networking sites? Is this real life as David from the dentist has once said.

I leave with this for now, and am looking forward to whatever comes after this,

After all, I am a curious one
